Do
you want player trades and transactions to occur automatically
in your Baseball for Windows replay? How about that roster move
you don’t want to miss? Well with ATMgr you can have it.
This program was created for the replayer so that actual transactions
for a season could be entered into a file before (or during)
a BBW season. It can also be used in a fantasy league where
you set your own transactions ahead of time. This process will
save on the time it takes to manually make trades, player call
ups and releases and the like. Once entered all you have to
do is select Daily Roster from the ATM menu and the program
does the rest.
You may use any method to run your league although you must
be using some version of League Manager(LM). You may use a program
such as APlus(A+), Auto Substitution in LM or manually enter
lineups before each game. The ideal situation would be to:
1.
Create a transaction file through ATM
2. Select Daily Roster from the ATM menu
3. Run A+ to create lineups
4. Run ONE days worth of games
5. Go back to step 2 until the season is over
You may even access LM and A+ through ATM which is detailed
in the help file.
Installation
After downloading the ATMgr file (ATMgr.exe) double click the
file from Windows Explorer or File Manager. You can put the
files in any directory you desire. Then create a shortcut key
for ATMgr.exe and start it up. Do not include any command line
parameters in the shortcut since ATMgr.exe is designed to be
called by other programs which pass these parameters to tell
it what to do. You will get an error if you try this.
Files
included with ATMgr are: ATMgr.Exe - The Annual Transaction
Program. ATM.txt - A help file for ATM. AnnTran.Dat - 1996 Transactions
using the 1996 season disk (not BJE). AnnNote.Dat - File of
notes for 1996 transactions (currently empty). AnnTran.ATM -
1996 Transactions in ASCII format to be used for Importing into
ATM if not using the 1996 season disk. QPRO200.DLL SSDATA2.VBX
The ATM.txt file contains more information about running the
program and using the 1996 Transaction files with "official"
season disks or with a BJE imported 1996 season. [Do not confuse
the 1996 Tranactions file included with ATMgr with the Transaction
file that comes with the 1996 disk.]
