Now
that the National Football Leagues season has come to a
screeching halt, are you suffering from NFL withdrawal?
APBA
International has come to the rescue, as it has released
its newly redesigned and revamped football games to hobby
dealers and retail stores.
The
company made significant changes to its APBA Pro Football
game and introduced two new games: APBA ProBowl and APBA
SuperStars.
APBA
Pro Football is fully licensed, which allows for the use
of team logos and player images on the cards and boards.
Other
changes include: more color on every card and team logos.
For convenient game play, the play result boards are now
bound in spiral booklets that include all of the games'
play charts, injury chart, roster sheet and rules. In addition,
the playing board now boasts a more realistic field and
the logs of all the teams.
The
young children's game, APBA SuperStars (ages 4 and up) is
priced at $19.95, while the intermediate APBA Pro Bowl trial
game (ages 7 and up) carries a $9.95 price tag. The APBA
NFL Football sells for $49.95.
Also
in development for 2001 is an APBA NFL PC version in which
gamers will have the ability to play one-another over the
Internet.
