APBA Convention

2025 APBA Convention - 6/19/2025 through 6/22/2025

Nearly eighty APBA enthusiasts and family members converged on the Hilton Garden Inn in Alpharetta, Georgia to participate in the 2025 APBA National Convention and Tournaments.  The week consisted of visits to the game company, tournament games, side games, gaming tutorials, APBA Jeopardy, the annual Friday night dinner, APBA Hall of Fame Inductions, and a memorial tribute to Roy Langhans, who passed away in December 2024.

The 2025 Convention Tournament Champions are:
Baseball - Steve Skoff (2019 Houston Astros) - 4th National Championship
Football - Dave Weatherbee (2022 Kansas City Chiefs)
Hockey - Steve Skoff (1982-83 Edmonton Oilers)
Soccer - Wally Skomoroh (2015-16 Barcelona)
Over the Fence - Eric Naftaly (1954 Willie Mays)
Team Over the Fence - Dick Moore (2019 New York Yankees)
Hockey Shootout - Paul McEvoy (1970-71 Boston Bruins)

At the Friday night dinner, the following awards were presented:
ROY Award - Pete Simonelli (APBA Ambassador, Historian, 1973 Tournament Co-Director)
HOF Inductee - Jim Fraasch (Twin Cities APBA Baseball Tournament Director)
